Ms. Brady is an award-winning composer, playwright, and singer-songwriter whose work spans musical theater and contemporary songwriting. Her musical Fly Fly Fly was selected for the Richard P. Stahl New Works Festival at the Phoenix Theatre, and her musical comedy The Test won Most Outstanding Musical at the 2016 International San Diego Fringe Festival. Her ten-minute play Amazing Grace earned Judge’s Choice, and she has received Best Song awards in multiple competitive arenas.
As a composer and performer, Ms. Brady has worked both as a solo artist and as the front woman for San Francisco–based bands CrackerJack Tattoo—winner of Best Bay Area Band—and Sweet Harriet. With every project, she strives to create work that fosters empathy, connection, and a deeper understanding of our shared humanity. She holds an M.A. in Writing and Design for Musical Theater from Berklee College of Music (NYC) and earned her B.A. from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
