On the day Gwendolyn and her cat Hip are moving away, her best friend Marina comes over with her dog Hop for one last playdate. When Marina sees the boxes, reality hits - her best friend is really leaving. Overcome with emotion, Marina climbs into an empty moving box and refuses to come out. Through gentle conversation, imagination, and shared memories, the girls explore what it means to feel sad, miss someone, and accept the loss. Along the way, they learn that grief doesn’t follow a straight line, that emotions are a natural thing and they learn to cope.
